Born and raised in San Diego, I always knew I wanted to be an artist of some type. Went to SDSU, and was disappointed to find out there really wasn't an underwater basket weaving degree so I went ahead and earned a B.A. in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Got a job as a Graphic Designer at a Textile Design company, was tricked, and now do most of their textile design artwork...what happened to the 4 years of studying Graphic Design? Huh? Na, this is MUCH better cause I'm designing home textiles for companies like Target and Pier 1 and it's awesome! Now that the career is settled, I want to focus my spare time (and when I say spare, I mean SPARE) on painting/illustration ...and watching butterflies mate (hey, ya gotta have time for that).
